Yes, both M42 adapter for fixing the lens. Nikon Adapter has an optical glass in his right adapter to infinity. This is the biggest lens, the 35 mm and below, unusable because their ends protruding to the rear. While some agencies Nikon manual meter targets. I'm not sure if Canon lenses meter manual, but I am sure that the concept is to infinity is not a problem.

If you consider not buying a body, however, the Pentax digital SLR. You can also mount M42 (aka Pentax screw) lenses by using an inexpensive adapter. Make sure you get the adapter installed in the device to even properly focused at infinity.

The best part is underground organs of Pentax lenses with age. Pentax has openly stated thatis the glass with newer digital equipment. I have a box full of lenses M42 28 mm to 500 mm with several brands, not just Pentax, and everything works perfectly with my K200D body. My DSLR has also led the help function, which helps me to sharp images, even with manual focus lenses. With aperture priority, for the digital photography, without have adapted my style of shooting. This is the main reason he stayed with Pentax when I take a backup camera to the SLR camera decided.
