I have a 10X4 bathroom I am being told to put same size tile on wall and floor. What size should I use? - floor tile sizes

I use a vanity, pepper, and am not sure what color to use the tiles. Trim tiles halfway up the wall to wall a lighter color and white. Sink is also white.

Same size of the tiles on the floor and the wall as would be long and narrow feel less crowded because it simply expect the illusion of space than you. I use a 12 "square tiles to a minimum, however the use of plants up to 18 cm and 12" on the walls. In addition, walls can create a narrow strip of tiles a little darker in the room. The eye follows the new group, the illusion of more width.

Some designers argue that if the smaller of the smallest size, but I've seen, and it's like walking into a store with tiled confusing multiple screens. My bathroom is about 10 x 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. x 4 tiles on the floor and walls - is a nightmare, and I will soon change.

I like the idea of white trim, because you know your toilet and sinks. The brighter color of paint on the siding to get a feeling of more space.

As the colorful tiles, it is difficult to advise you. I do not know what "pepper" is: a small black and white speckled? I believe that the pictures be quite low in color, even if your pride is dark - this is a nice contrast. Try to choose the lighter color on the cover of vanity. When I choose the tile, I found the colors of light that appeared dark in the hand made or mud when the field. So, take home several samples so you can try.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Bathrooms have a 12 "X12-size tile would work well.
The large pieces of tile in the brick faces, but the spirit of his designs around the boards on the floor and walls, it can be easier, instead of cutting or punching holes in the mosaic center - easier, in the walls and limits only the edges pinched in place to ensure all wet saw to cut tiles, you believe me (crazy people) and to purchase additional parts for the repair or bad cuts

While the big boxes would be less work to do to make the small space. It is the same, with wooden floors. Large pieces of wood are "intimate" for the spaces, while the thinner parts of the room appear larger. Lighter colors also have the effect of a larger space.
